We are doing our part in building the future and in preserving the centuries old heritage of hunting.

The Safari Club International has a membership approaching 50,000 members, which are active sportsmen and women in over thirty-seven (37) countries. SCI reports that the SCI Membership spends nearly $440 million annually on hunting related activities and in supporting conservation programs throughout the world, which also strengthens rural economies that are dependent on hunting and wildlife recreation.

Picnic and Elections

We had a GREAT Picnic and fun shoot at the Turner’s on June 14th. We had around 40 members and guests in attendance. If you were not there you missed a wonderful time. Jay put on a good shoot with a good course.

Sporting Clay Shoot:

The next major thing on our agenda is our SCI Sporting Clay shoot on August 15 and 16. You should have received a flyer on this in the letter with our ballot. Help us promote this event. Remember all the money raised will stay in the local area for our projects. We will need help from all to make this a memorable event. We will need you to be there to help run this show. Mark your calendars and let myself or any board member and let us know how you can help. I have been told that Out of This World Taxidermy has stepped up to the plate and has taken on the task of providing all of the water for this event. Thanks so much for your help and support Phil.
