The first is our annual Christmas Party. This will be held on December 21, 2018 at the home of Brian Bailey. The party will be at his brand new trophy room. The party will start at 6:00 pm. The chapter will provide the meal and it will be catered by Black Betty BBQ. We will also do the cup/mug exchange again this year. Please bring a cup/or mug with a 25.00 or less gift with it. We will again use the progressive numbers to determine how the gifts are exchanged. This is always lots of fun. We will need a head count for the meal so please, please let me know if you are coming so we can order the meal. Also friends and family are always welcome.
Our annual fund raiser will be held on February 8-9 at the Artesia Country Club. Ticket prices are the same as they have been in the past. Individual tickets are $100.00 each for the two nights. This includes admission for both nights, meals for both nights as well as an open bar for both nights. Friday night’s meal will be different this year. Stay tuned for more details. The table cost this year will once again be $1,200.00. You will receive 8 admission tickets, all meals and drinks for both nights as well as the table gun. This year our table gun will be a very desirable Remington 700 ADL in a 6.5 Creedmoor, topped with a 3X9 scope.
Ed has a great list of guns for the gun boards as well as the live auction. Pancho is working on getting us a great list of hunts to bid on. I already know that we have a very nice Barbary sheep hunt in Texas that will be on the block. The Wenner ladies are also putting together a great group of items for our bucket raffle and possible return of our silent auction.
Tickets are available at this time. Please contact any board member to get yours. With the addition of the Northern NM Chapter to our ranks I feel that tickets will go fast this year.
